School of Massage
You can rest assured that the training you receive is to the highest standard. We have high pass rates and excellent levels of student satisfaction. All the courses and workshops are well-designed, practical, informative and relevant. You can be confident in both the quality of the courses and the tutors at Quantum Metta School of Massage. Once you've successfully completed your studies, you will have everything you need to practise professionally - skills, knowledge, experience and confidence.
We've been teaching for a long time and have loads of experience of course design, development and presentation. As practitioners ourselves - we know what you need to know! Some tutors are anatomy and physiology specialists, others are skilled and experienced massage practitioners and teachers. Some are also examiners. Dympna and Doreen have been practitioners for over 16 years, tutors for 14 years and have a wealth of experience in complementary therapies, personal development, training and education. Zena has run a successful massage practice since 1998 and has been teaching Holistic Massage since 2002. Jane and Richard have in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, and have taught on many complementary health courses. We are committed to high standards and the FISH Philosophy (check them out on www.fishphilosophy.com) and we're passionate about what we do.
We have a wide range of CPD courses to choose from to further develop your skills. In addition, we have newsletters and organise networking events for complementary therapists - great for support, opportunities and inspiration! After qualifying you can join our ‘Find a Massage Therapist’ register for public referrals, we send out job opportunities whenever we’re contacted by people looking for massage therapists. And as well as that, we're happy to be the other end of the phone for any questions that arise as you develop as a therapist! We love learning ourselves and are committed to sharing what we know.
Low student to tutor ratio ensures that each person gets individual attention and feedback. Private lessons with a tutor may also be arranged. We are friendly and approachable and can be contacted in between course sessions if a student has a question to ask, or would like to have a chat. We’re knowledgeable, caring and approachable, offering support when you need it. We are committed to giving you the best experience of learning possible, and our students mean a lot to us.
All courses are based on brain-friendly principles. This means that modern learning techniques are used to enhance learning and increase retention by making it fun, collaborative, interactive, motivating, inspirational, focused, exciting and practical.
Exam fees where applicable, course manuals and light refreshments. The Holistic Massage Diploma also includes an Appointed Person's First Aid qualification and the Aromatherapy Diploma includes a daytrip to Kew Gardens.
The venues are in easy-to-get-to locations near major tube/train stations.
